Persija Esports Unveils MLBB Tournament: Introducing the Persija Esports Championship 2024

Persija Esports, an esports organization based in Indonesia, has recently announced its entrance into the competitive world of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The team has disclosed its participation in the upcoming MDL Season 9 competition, which is scheduled to commence on March 2.

In addition to this revelation, Persija Esports has also unveiled plans for a community tournament known as the Persija Esports Championship 2024. This strategic move underscores the organization’s commitment to fostering and bolstering the esports community in Indonesia, particularly within the domain of Mobile Legends.

At a press conference held at the Persija Official Store in Jakarta, Mr. Harlin E. Rahardjo, the CEO of Persija Esports, articulated the organization’s vision for the championship. He emphasized that the Persija Esports Championship aspires to serve as a platform for burgeoning esports talents, granting them opportunities to pursue their ambitions of becoming professional players and athletes in the realm of esports.

The championship has been structured to engage grassroots participation, with the overarching objective of identifying talents who may potentially join the ranks of professional players under the Persija Esports banner. Mr. Harlin E. Rahardjo further expounded on this point by stating, “Because the community is already substantial, we want to provide a series of tournaments. We also seek to promote esports, particularly MLBB.”

The Persija Esports Championship is slated to span over the course of a year and will be conducted in 6 cities, including Jakarta, Bandung, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Depok. The championship will comprise of 6 qualifiers, 2 advance stages, and 1 grand final, offering a comprehensive and inclusive platform for participants to showcase their skills and vie for esteemed titles.

The inaugural Persija Esports Championship will initiate with online qualifiers on March 1, followed by offline qualifiers on March 2-3 in Jakarta. Throughout these qualifying rounds, competing teams will contend for a prize pool totaling IDR 10,000,000, with the opportunity to vie for further rewards during the grand final amounting to IDR 100,000,000.
