The recent passing of Thio Him Tjiang, a revered figure in Indonesian football, marks the end of an era for the sport. Known for his unwavering commitment to Union Make Strength (UMS) and his remarkable achievements, Thio Him Tjiang leaves behind a legacy of loyalty and pride.
Despite his advanced age, Thio Him Tjiang remained vibrant and resilient until the end. His nephew, Hotje Prakasa, fondly recalls his uncle as a proud and determined individual who never allowed illness to hinder his spirit.
