During the court proceedings, Simic’s attorney advocated for a swift resolution to the charges; however, Magistrate Jennifer Atkinson emphasized the importance of treating the case with due procedural fairness, taking into account the involvement of law enforcement and all relevant parties. Consequently, the case has been adjourned until April 9.
