Indonesian Football Clubs Hit with FIFA Registration Bans

Numerous Indonesian football clubs, including Persija Jakarta of Liga 1, have been issued registration bans by FIFA, preventing them from registering new players for the next three transfer windows.

The affected Indonesian clubs include Persiwa Wamena, Persiraja Banda Aceh, Persikab Kabupaten Bandung, and Sada Sumut FC, and they are prohibited from signing any players during this period.

Although the specific reasons for the bans have not been officially disclosed, it is widely speculated that longstanding financial issues may have been the primary cause. Notably, Indian, Iranian, Uzbek, Kuwaiti, Saudi Arabian, and Chinese clubs have also been impacted.
